JOB SUMMARY:
Read prints, technical specifications, work orders, and/or other documentation to determine project requirements. Obtain, create, and manipulate digital asset files through CAD, other 2D and 3D design applications, and 2D or 3D scanning of real-world objects. Manage a library of digital files. Convert digital files to physical assets using equipment such as various 2D and 3D printers, plotters, embroidery machines, multi-axis routers, and other CNC based machines. Set up, organize, clean, and maintain equipment as needed. Work with Supervisors, Art Directors, Engineers, and Quality Control personnel to ensure file and physical part accuracy. Occasional travel to and from asset locations.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create or edit each assigned project digital file by following provided specifications, documentation, and other information as directed. Maintain digital archive and keep asset drawings up to date.
Create or edit physical assets by operating various machinery including, routers, scanners, and printers.
Properly prep digital files, tools, equipment, and materials for each assigned project through proper equipment setup and adjustment.
Maintain CNC and printing equipment to include preventative maintenance, regular cleaning, lubrication, parts replacement, and simple mechanical repairs.
Properly document and update projects and processes through SOP's, Project Planning Sheets, DTI's, Material Request Forms and other documentation standards as required. Properly track and record required information through Maximo.
Properly follow established art direction and technical specificationsUnderstands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Associate degree in a Technical field is required (CNC operator, Digital Drafting, Graphics, Computer Technology, etc.).
Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years full time experience using 2D and 3D file creation programs such as Adobe CS, Corel Draw, Gerber Omega programs, Maya, 3DStudioMax, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, PowerMill and other tool path software.
2+ years using CNC equipment such as 3D printers, plotters, multi-axis routers; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have prior use of 3D scanning equipment.
Must have experience using .stl file types and gcode.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Florida Driver's License required to operate company vehicles.
CNC operator's certification preferred.

Experience with Pantone and other color matching systems.

Experience with Large Format 2D Printers
Experience with Textile Printers and Transfer Presses.
Experience with Multi-Axis (5 or more) Routers
Experience with Plotters and Laminators.
Experience with Ethernet Industrial Protocol (Ethernet/IP).
Experience with Embroidery Machines.
Experience writing simple software plugins.
