We believe it's the only way to drive healthcare forward and remain a global leader in medical technology and solutions.To learn more about Inclusion & Diversity at MedtronicClick HereA Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Collaborates cross-functionally with Automation Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Process Engineering, and external vendors to support and execute small projects, engineering study, and equipment modifications.Performs a variety of duties in the mechanical, electromechanical, areas for equipment and fixture repairs/services.Constructs, troubleshoots, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.Works from schematics (electrical, pneumatics, mechanical).Settles related equipment parameter for operatorsAble to troubleshoot complex automated equipment.Works with engineers and equipment suppliers to generate lists of critical spares.Works with line operation team and engineers to stabilize production outputs and make improvements.Follows Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices according to ISO13485 standard.Cross functional collaborate with all the groups internal and external.Proficient with various hand tools and calibrated tools.Constructs, troubleshoots, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.Maintains appropriate maintenance and repair logs.Demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn and show initiative towards growing within the company.Review and update tool design and documentation as required.Assist in the development of maintenance procedures, preventative, routine and predictive work instructions, training and troubleshooting manuals, validation documents, protocols, and reports.Willingness to accept changes in work from day-to-day within reasonable and expected boundaries.Must Have: Minimum RequirementsMinimum of 4 years of experience of relevant experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experienceNice to HaveElectronics or engineering technician related degreeExperience with 3D mechanical design and 3d PrintingStrong problem-solving skillsStrong team playerPrior experience in medical device in an FDA-regulated environment.Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma tools.Practiced knowledge and understanding of electricity, electronics, controls, sensors.Practiced knowledge and understanding of ladder logic, basic PLC functions.Practiced knowledge and understanding of motors, mechanical systems, and pneumatics.Computer skillsAbout MedtronicTogether, we can change healthcare worldwide.
