Equipment Support Technician-
- Clean, prepare and sterilize glassware, carboys, and small equipment.
- Complete decontamination of lab waste.
- Ensures quality product by knowing and maintaining company and departmental standards and procedure.
- Perform operations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Documentation practices must be performed in a concurrent, legible, and consistent basis.
- Sanitization or sterilization of designated areas and equipment, requiring work with cleaners and attention to small details while cleaning.
- Ensure all assigned equipment and components are staged for assigned operation.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced team environment and be able to also complete assigned tasks independently.
- Perform other tasks, as needed.
* New hires will complete medical surveillance check (including vision, hearing, physical dexterity, etc.)
* Work in a building where Virus and Bacterin antigen is produced as well as final product using stabilizer and antibiotics are blended and filled.
* May require gowning and PAPR respirator.
Quals--
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Analytical, scientific, and mechanical trouble shooting skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Strict attention to detail and safety.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
- Be reliable and on time.
Desired:
- Basic knowledge / understanding of aseptic process techniques and applicable quality standards to support sterile operations.
- Basic understanding of Good Documentation Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Basic awareness of quality improvement tools.
