Uses education and training for operating equipment and employing manual test methods.Performs quality assurance and control procedures in adherence with standard operating procedures, federal, state, and CAP regulations.Once trained, Medical Laboratory Scientists and Medical Laboratory Technicians working at ESCL are authorized to independently process specimens, perform tests, and release results.All you need is:Medical Laboratory Technician, A.S. or Medical Technologist, B.S. or B.S. in Biological, Chemistry or Physical Science or military educational equivalent required (transcripts must be presented). Registered as a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician by the American Society of Clinical Pathology Board of Certification.
