Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, an international law firm, is actively recruiting a Technology Support Coordinator in the Washington, DC office.
This position coordinates the provision of IT support services to attorneys and staff, including the delivery and advancement of the firm's technologies, application systems, best-practices, knowledge-bases, and educational opportunities.
Responsible for the delivery of training, coaching, business process engineering, and problem solving as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.
Participates in and supports the Technology Coaching program by a) establishing excellent working relationships with lawyers and staff; b) helping them acquire/maintain the skills necessary to optimize their utilization of firm technology; and c) employing firm best-practices to achieve a higher level of performance for routine tasks, and thereby enhancing client service.
2.
Maintains a high-level of competency utilizing the firm's applications (Microsoft Office, iManage DMS, etc.
), technologies (workstations, remote access, mobile devices, printers, phones, etc.)
policies, procedures, best-practices, and knowledge-bases to provide guidance and support as needed.
3.
Utilizes the Firm's service management system to report technology/system issues, respond to escalations, track resolutions, and also to identify trends and opportunities for additional training, coaching, and/or system enhancements.
4.
Promotes effective communications with other Firm IT personnel to ensure local office needs, problems, and opportunities are properly represented and responded to in a complete and timely manner.
5.Collaborates with attorneys and staff in the proper managing and securing of information by reviewing daily use practices related to email, documents, file transports, local/removable media, scanning, remote access, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
College degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of three years' job related experience required, including internships, preferably in a law firm, professional services, or other client relationship-based organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Ability to generate a large volume of work and be capable of making sound decisions in the absence of clear instructions.
Exceptional written and verbal communication and listening skills.
Accurate typing, word processing skills and ability to pay strict attention to detail.
Spelling, punctuation and use of grammar must be of high quality.
Must have strong organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions.
Visual acuity needed for transcription, extensive reading and input (typing) of information into computer.
Ability to receive and convey detailed information through both written and oral communication.
Essential competency processes include language ability, reasoning and memory.
Ability to maintain flexibility regarding work assignments to work overtime on short notice required.

The expected salary range for Washington, DC based employees is $87,800 to $136,800, though salaries for employees based outside of Washington, DC may differ.
Beyond an employment candidate's physical location, salary offers may be based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, training and/or experience.
