Telecommunications Engineer IV Location : Pittsburgh, PA Duration : 12 Months+ W2 Only ( USC preferable ) The Telecommunications engineer IV will be responsible for architecting and implementing the VOIP infrastructure, as well as ongoing management of it. The candidate should have in depth knowledge of Cisco Call Manager/Cisco Technologies. Problem solving ability will be crucial to this role. Providing support to our end users/customers will be vital. They should have basic understanding of LAN/WAN networking and how VOIP relies on it. Notes from call; 1.) Cisco Call Management 2.) Must have archtech experience an a voice enviroment 3.) Trunking This is a backfill role Needs Cisco experience Oversees 8 devices Leading other Jr. Members (3) Hybrid model 1 day off and 4 days on. Interview going to be two steps, first with Jay and another manager that is informal then a second interview which is more technical. Temp to hire possibilty May have to work off hours, Frequency is every two weeks Cert: CCNA Must Skills: Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) Cisco Unity Cisco Voice Gateways SIP Trunking Expert knowledge of Cisco IP telephony solutions Design/maintain VOIP architecture Install VOIP hardware Troubleshooting voice issues Cisco ATA Analog Highly organized Good Documentation Good customer communication
