AUTO OFFER MUST have completed at least '1' successful assignment with submitting agency (note on work history) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
1.
Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and facility policies and procedures.
2.
Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of residents.
3.
Observes residents, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor, physician and family of resident's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
4.
Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of resident.
5.
Assigns duties and coordinates nursing services on the resident unit to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with instructions of Physician, federal and state regulations and facility procedures.
6.
Consults with Shift Supervisor on nursing problems and interpretation of facility policies to insure resident needs are met.
7.
Report all complaints or unusual problems to supervisor.
Assist with completion of facility complaint report.
8.
Participates in orientation and training and evaluating of nursing personnel.
9.
Evaluates nursing activities to ensure resident care, staff relations, and efficiency of service.
10.
Assigns duties and coordinates nursing service on the resident unit.
11.
Observes nursing care and visits residents to ensure that nursing care is carried out as directed, and treatment administered in accordance with Physician's instructions.
12.
Assumes responsibility and maintains records for unit narcotics.
13.
Inspects resident rooms and the unit for cleanliness and comfort.
14.
Responsible to document admissions, discharges, transfers and incident reports per facility policies and procedures.
15.
Participate in the care plan process, completes nursing assessments and resident care plans accurately and timely on assigned residents.
16.
Completes special projects and audits at the direction of the Supervisor, CCC, or Director of Nursing.
17.
Maintain all educational requirements for the State of Michigan to keep license current.
Attend facility in services and ward conferences as assigned.
18.
Maintain resident confidentiality; treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect; know and comply with all Resident's Rights rules; and promptly report all resident accidents and injuries to charge nurse.
19.
Must have regular and attendance.
20.
All other duties as assigned.
Additional Facility Information May be asked to serve in Charge capacity no block schedule guaranteed every other weekend required Facility Address is across from Humane Society and facility may occasionally have a Canine support visitor.
If Clinician is afraid of dogs, may not be the best fit Requirement description : 2+ Years Experience - Required Travel experience required BLS (AHA or ARC) - Required Covid Vaccine - strongly encouraged(if declining, mandated to wear a mask) Clinician MUST be able & willing to work the set schedule created by the Facility.
