Overview:
The primary responsibility of a Stock Team Member is to assist with freight flow process, backroom organization, salesfloor replenishment, and price changes.
This position requires a high level of organization and a sense of urgency.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the process of the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient mannerAssist in maintaining an efficient and organized stockroomAssist in assembling product, executing markdowns and salesfloor replenishmentProvides support for driving profitable sales, protecting company assets and support of the Company Handbook during their shiftsTakes personal accountability for individual performanceWhen entering the salesfloor, treats customers in a respectful and professional manner; supports company branding by adhering to dress codeMaintains high commitment and demonstrates support for company initiativesTakes initiative during every shift to ensure shipment is processed in a timely mannerReports to shift with a professional, positive, can-do attitude at all timesDemonstrates a commitment to Kirklands Home Values
Qualifications:
No experience necessary, stock experience preferredEnergetic, results oriented and competitive with a drive to succeedAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsAbility to effectively communicate both written and verballyAbility to work weekends, holidays and eveningsAbility to read and interpret company directives, Handbook and ManualsAbility to work a schedule to meet the business needs of the store.
