Essential Job Functions: Academic Monitoring of Assigned Caseload of Student-Athletes
* Develop a subject-centered educational plan for identified student-athletes, meeting with them regularly, to review objectives, track grade feedback and assist with academic success strategies such as time management, organization, study skills, and professional communication.
Study Hall
* Serve as Academic Services staff point-of-contact for all aspects of supervised study hall.
Responsibilities will include: monitoring study hall, facilitating an appropriate study hall environment, scheduling of additional study hall monitors, updating student-athlete study hall requirements, coach correspondence, and communicating with campus partners in the Office of Tutoring and Testing and the Writing Center.
Academic Team Liaison to Assigned Sport
* Serve as Academic Services team liaison for assigned sport/s.
Responsibilities will include: conducting meetings with student-athletes regarding academic concerns and/or athletic related impacts to educational experience, supporting student-athlete priority registration, monitoring progress reports for assigned student-athletes, preparing academic related reports for coaching staffs, assisting with academic recognition events and other student-athlete specific programming, corresponding with coaches regarding academic related updates.

* Candidates must be able to abide by strict confidentiality requirements as directed by FERPA, university and departmental policies.
* Candidates must always be professional in their conduct and adhere to all NSU, NCAA, and departmental rules and regulations.
* Candidates must be available between the hours of 8am-2pm and Monday/Tuesday night to work a total of 30 hours per week as scheduled by the Manager of Athletic Academic Services.
