As the part-time (28 hours per week) Temporary Support Staff you will help conduct the business affairs of the church with an awareness of and availability to the needs of others with an eagerness to help when possible and deals with interruptions pleasantly and is willing to help other staff members in the course of their assigned tasks as the needs arise. The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual with excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications.
This role can support any area of ministry (Administration, Receptionist, Student Ministry, Children's Ministry, etc.) Responsibilities can include: Communication - Answer phone calls/general email inquiries and route to the appropriate internal parties as needed.Coordinate scheduling - Set up meetings based on cross-functional availability for both internal and external stakeholders.Organize internal resources - Build out and maintain processes to keep files and office supplies organized and easily accessible.Liaise with visitors - Act as point person for office guests.Communicate policies and procedures - Alert employees of new processes, rules and regulations.Data EntryRequirements: High school diploma1-2 years experience as an administrative assistant, secretary or receptionist preferredStrong organizational, communication, and time-management skillsProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment Positive, high-energy attitudeResourcefulness, creativity, and problem-solving skill setFamiliarity with office equipment (i.e. printers, fax machines, projectors)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel and PowerPoint)Reliable transportationAbout Victory By submitting your application you hereby certify that the facts set forth in the above employment application are true and complete to the best of your knowledge.
