Tennis Shop Attendants offer friendly and expedient service to the property's guests and assist the tennis professional staff in shop operations, merchandise sales and other related activities.
Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends, holidays, and golf season, as needed.

Responsibilities: Performs opening and closing procedures for the shop or store as determined by management.
Responsible for accountability of POS transactions made.
Collects applicable fees from members/guests and outside patrons as they arrive.
Makes court, clinic, lesson and special event reservations, in person or by phone.
Assists guests by selling merchandise and providing information in a professional manner.
Assists with rotating stock and keeping displays clean and orderly.
Assists with general cleaning of the shop or store.
Assist shop supervisor with creating appealing displays.
Assists with monthly physical inventories.
May work with coaches to facilitate orderly start and play times.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required/needed.
Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g.
the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
Ideal candidate will be an active tennis player with knowledge of the game.
Retail sales experience is preferred.
Computer proficiency including but not limited POS, Microsoft Office applications, social media and other programs related to tennis such as tennisdirector.com or ClubAutomation.
Working Conditions: Frequently stands and uses hands, reaches with hands and arms, talks or hears.
Regularly walks, sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches.
Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.
Noise level is moderate.
