Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking an electrical, computer science, or computer engineering intern to support production test engineering activities for multiple lines of Missiles and Rockets.


This position requires integration, testing and fielding of software/hardware for an automated test set supporting production of various missiles and rockets.
Candidate must understand electronics and associated testing methods.
Candidate will be responsible for learning the process to plan and prepare for cables, ITA (Interface Test Adapter) and test set testing and troubleshooting, including reviewing schematics, determining the root cause of anomalies and working with technicians to perform the necessary repair.
Candidate will also be responsible for creating necessary tools in NI TestStand or any other platform to increase the efficiency of troubleshooting process for Test Engineers.

Basic Qualifications:
Junior or Senior in 4 year Electrical, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering degree program
Fundamental knowledge in use of digital multimeter and Oscilloscope
MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel
Able to support onsite duties
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
C, C++, NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand
Cable or harness testing
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
