Textile Manufacturing Associate Position Overview:
A Textile Manufacturing Associate plays a crucial role in the production of textile goods within a manufacturing facility. Their responsibilities can vary depending on the specific tasks assigned to them and the nature of the textile production process. We are hiring for roles in Packing, Pre-Needling, Needling, Seaming & Weaving.
Essential Duties:
Must be able to follow the SOP's and production ticket technical specifications to ensure product quality.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to produce consistent quality, through observation and elimination of any inconsistencies.
Ability to work well alone at repetitive work and work well with others.
Work efficiently with a focus on continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide and measure.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Required Mindset:
Promote safety and good housekeeping practices.
Positive attitude and team player mentality.
Must be a self-starter who is accurate, precise, and takes pride in their workmanship.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Ability to work in a typical plant environment involving exposure to fluorescent lighting, contact with synthetic materials, good dexterity, and hand-eye coordination. Ability to sit, stand, and move about the facility for 8-12 hours per day (depending on shift). Ability to lift 10 lbs up frequently, and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
