Tampa General Hospital (TGH) Cancer Institute, one of the fastest-growing academic cancer centers in Florida, is actively seeking applications for an early to mid-career physician with a clinical and research focus on Thoracic and Head & Neck malignancies.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, candidates will be expected to participate in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as collaborate with other investigators on cutting-edge clinical and translational research.
TGH has regularly scheduled tumor board meetings for thoracic and head & neck cancer where most patients are discussed to formulate a multidisciplinary treatment plan.
TGH Cancer Institute is closely affiliated with the University of South Florida Medical School, a highly ranked public research university, which is nationally ranked in 6 specialties by U.S. News & World Report.
TGH Cancer Institute is seeking NCI-designation and boasts a large tissue biobank and a rapidly expanding clinical trial infrastructure.
Additionally, the cancer institute has rapidly growing stem cell transplant and CAR-T cell therapy programs.
The compensation package for this position includes an excellent base salary along with a bonus structure.
