TFI Connections is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Foster Care Worker to join our team! If you have a master's degree and are licensed to provide therapy services (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or are a candidate for licensure), we would love to teach you the rest! As a Therapeutic Foster Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing therapy and support to families who foster Oklahoma's children. Your primary responsibilities include coordinating services, collaborating with internal and external community partners, creating treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based practices. Qualifications: Licensed therapist or under supervision: Valid therapist license in Oklahoma or actively working towards licensure under supervision (LCSW, LPC, LMFT). Experience in foster care: Previous experience in foster care, especially in a therapeutic capacity, is highly desirable. Knowledge of evidence-based practices: Familiarity with therapeutic interventions and practices for children and families. Strong communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with partners, foster children, and families. Empathy and compassion: Ability to empathize with and support foster children and their families, understanding their unique challenges. Responsibilities: Coordinate services: Collaborate with foster families, biological families, and professionals to ensure comprehensive service delivery to foster children. Collaborate with partners: Maintain effective working relationships with internal team members, community agencies, and service providers. Conduct assessments: Perform thorough assessments of foster children and families to identify needs, strengths, and growth areas. Develop treatment plans: Create individualized treatment plans based on assessments, incorporating evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions. Provide therapy and support: Deliver therapy and support to foster children and families using various therapeutic modalities. Monitor progress: Regularly evaluate foster children's progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Maintain documentation: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions, assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Advocate for foster children: Ensure foster children's voices are heard and rights are protected. Stay informed: Keep current on best practices, research, and developments in therapeutic foster care.
