Key responsibilities include:
Providing occupational therapy services to adults and adolescents with neurological disorders, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and orthopedic rehabilitation needs.
Evaluating patients, creating treatment plans, and documenting progress.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Developing home exercise programs and training restorative aides.
Implementing equipment and adaptations to support patient goals and needs.
Preferred qualifications include NBCOT certification, state licensure, and 2-3 years of experience working with neurological disorders.
