Annual Salary Range – $118,200 - $147,800
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range DSM expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. This position is also eligible for bonuses and benefits, which are not included in the pay scale provided.

As aThird Party Manufacturing Manager, you will support Market Ready Solutions,(MRS) business and growth objectives by managing third party supply needs (including providing quotations, supply agreements, qualifying suppliers, supporting, and executing product launches with third party manufacturers), and performance management. You will also coordinate supply and quality with the regional supply chain and quality teams. This will be supporting Health, Nutrition & Care (HNC Premix).

Responsibilities:
• Identify and assess third party manufacturing capabilities, qualifications, documentation, and cGMP compliance to ensure quality and manufacturing integrity.
• Select optimal 3rd party manufacturers for business/product launch opportunities taking into consideration capabilities, capacity, speed, risk management, strategic business opportunities and retail business priorities.
• Provide feedback on new project capabilities with new project opportunities from retail sales, segment leads and/or innovation.
• Take third party manufacturer costs to the commercial team to help determine the final offer price to customer manufacturers for business/product launch opportunities taking into consideration capabilities, speed, risk management, strategic business opportunities and retail business.
• Negotiate supply agreements, supply agreement amendments, and manage the overall vendor relationship.
• Evaluate opportunities to reduce costs and improve service level and product quality.
• Manage assigned 3PM activities, setting priorities as needed to optimize sales growth.
• Provide on-location production support and expertise as needed. Monitor and evaluate vendor performance.
• Track and monitor the Market Ready Solutions annual production spend (direct spend) as well as the MRS operational budget (indirect spend)

This position embraces a Hybrid Working model, offering the flexibility of both office and remote work. Initially you'll be on-site for 5 days a week, transitioning gradually to 1-2 days in your home office once you're fully acclimated.
Frequent travel to North America Production Sites or Suppliers and 3rd Party Contract Manufacturers is required. (Every other month)
You Bring:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline is preferred. Relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a scientific discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement / sourcing / supply chain experience, preferably within dietary supplement contract manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills, comfort with speaking to stakeholders of all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft tools and SAP is preferred.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple complex projects and activities.
• Ability to operate independently and make critical decision to achieve business goals.
