Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant

A hospital in Rockland County is currently seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join their vascular surgery team. About the Opportunity: Specialty: Thoracic Surgery Shifts: Days Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 to 4:30 PM Responsibilities: The Physician Assistant (PA) will: Works closely with a team of specialty physicians to provide direct care to patients, consultations and serves as a consistent care coordinator through the continuum of care, assessing the physical, psychological, spiritual and social needs of the patient. Directs patients to the next appropriate service and tracks their progress. Assures that all patients receive appropriate evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, medical screening and medical evaluation whenever indicated, and that all medical patient care is appropriately documented in the medical record. Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Graduation from a accredited Physician Assistant program NYS Physician Assistant (PA) license Desired Skills: Thoracic Surgery Experience
