The Ticket Operations Associate works in a fast-paced university intercollegiate athletics ticket office serving customers by processing orders and providing customer support for all aspects of ticket operations via telephone, written communication, and personal interaction. Should enjoy speaking with patrons to effectively address customer concerns. Requires excellent learning skills to acquire product and processing knowledge in order to present information effectively to customers and accurately answer their questions. Assists in all areas of ticket sales, processing, distribution, and customer support. Must have current knowledge of telephone and computer systems, including data integrity. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director / Ticket Operations.
Required Qualifications
Previous customer service experience in an academic or sales environment.
Working knowledge of basic office computer software and hardware.
Ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a high-volume customer support environment.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills a must.
Commitment to diversity
Must be available to work M-F between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., as well as hours of events (weekends and some holidays).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Paciolan Ticketing Software and Salesforce.
Previous sales experience.
Previous customer support experience.
Previous payment card processing experience.
