Handles requests foradditional slidesstains submitted by the pathologists.Assists the manager with inventory tracking. May file slides and blocks orretrieve same as needed.**MOHS** laboratory: Performs frozen section processing for Mohs micrographicsurgery - cuts tissue in ultra-thin sections modifying technique based ontissue type.Trains andor supervises students as well as new & existing employees.Properly documents training. Develops and performs employee competencyassessments.Demonstrates excellent customer service skills; effectively communicates withpersonnel within the laboratory and throughout health system as appropriate;handles inquiries expeditiously.Maintains knowledge of and follows all hospital policies and procedures aswell as laboratory general and department specific policies and procedures. **Experience Required** 2 years experience preferred **Education Requirements** High School DiplomaAssociate degree PreferredCompletion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnology programmed preferred.
