Specifically, the Tool and Die Maker will: Keep a clean and safe work areaUnderstand tool steels and production materialMust be able to work from blueprints and CAD data to construct, alter or repair toolsMust be able to operate Tool Room equipmentResponsible for fabrication of tooling in stamping departmentMaintain proper tooling records for preventative maintenanceKnowledge to setup dies, material feeds, and operate the punch press to trial toolsExperienced in debug and troubleshooting of new tooling for part approval processAssist in Die changeoversAssist with other related duties as required or assigned. What you'll need to bring to the table:
