About the Role The Press Tool and Die Maker builds, fabricates, and repairs tooling, fixtures, and other components as necessary to ensure the support of the plant production.
Your Responsibilities Services, maintains, and tests new or changed dies, modifies dies and tooling to conform to engineering changes. Performs scheduled preventative maintenance on all tooling and is familiar with SAP for work orders, troubleshoots for problems during production. Basic Formability training and circle grid analysis. Operates a variety of small machines, tools and equipment. Verifies conformance of machined or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances and alignments. Tryout and launch of new die sets and tooling. Who we are looking for Associate's degree (AA) from a two-year technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to read blueprints and preferred CAD experience. Your preferred qualifications Class A experience. Welding experience. Strong communication skills.
