Tool Crib Inventory Control Attendant As a Tool Crib Inventory Control Attendant, you will be responsible for Control of the Tooling inventory and Stock Parts Inventory of the organization. You will distribute, collect, and maintain tools/tooling as it pertaining to the manufacturing processes as well as keep detailed records of tool transactions. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent organizational skills, high levels of accuracy and the ability to work independently and Collaborate with Manufacturing/Production, Quality, Customer Service Representatives & Purchasing staff to ensure smooth operations. Tool Crib Responsibilities: Distribute/Issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and equipment to employees.Review & validate fulfilment of Vendor Managed Inventory in Vending Machine(s)Maintains perpetual inventory of tools, tooling and stock inventory using the computer.Verifies/Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools/tooling and equipment, and reviews Stock Levels to create requisitions to replenish inventory. May mark and identify tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.Inspect tools/tooling for damage or wear and tear, locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment and where required, Collect tools at the end of the workday.Maintain a clean, organized Tool Crib Area and Comply with safety regulations and company procedures. Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.May assist Shipping & Receiving Department as needs arises. Tool Crib Qualifications/Skills: Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stockExperience in Receiving, stocking, Pulling, packing, and loadingGood written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsStrong sense of accuracy, time organization and urgencyAble to work independently and within a team Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent2 – 4 Years Manufacturing Tool Crib Responsibilities in a quick paced environmentKnowledge of safety regulations and proceduresAbility to lift heavy objects (50 lbs)Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry dateFamiliarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment is preferred
