Position Title: Tool & Die Maker Pay Rate Range: $19- $28/hr. depending on experience Schedule(s)/Hours 1st shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) Location: Portland, CT Responsibilities Include: Build and design tools and gages from specifications
Maintains tools and gages in proper working order.
Uses tool drawings, operation sheets, and part prints to build and design tools.
Runs production equipment when required.
Supports maintenance personnel when required
Calibrates tools and gages.
Able to setup and operate all tool room equipment
Experience: 3+ yrs. experience in tool making.
Strong understanding of GD&T.
Able to communicate, converse with, express self, exchange information, discern, and convey messages.
High School or Equivalent
