Nature of work:
Manage safe operation of assigned Bass Fishing League divisions, including scheduling, permitting, angler recruitment, pretournament meetings, takeoff and weigh-in ceremonies, and rule enforcement.
Examples of work performed:
Scheduling quality fisheries that appeal to anglers to host assigned tournaments
Securing all necessary permits to hold assigned tournaments
Securing registration and pretournament meeting sites
Monitoring tournament entries and recruiting anglers to meet budget goals
Strict enforcement of all tournament rules applied equally to all contestants
Setting up pretournament meeting, takeoff and weigh-in areas
Setting up all staging, signage and sound systems
Running the pretournament meeting, takeoff and weigh-in
Transmitting all tournament data to IT following each weigh-in
Answering tournament-specific questions regarding participation, rules, fishing regulations, etc.
Building strong rapport with anglers to maximize support of Major League Fishing
Oversee the work conducted by tournament assistants and crew
Additional duties as assigned

Prolonged sitting and standing.

Lifting/moving of equipment.

Qualifications:
Minimum
High School or GED.
2+ years' experience in the tournament fishing field.
A valid driver's license and ability to meet company vehicle driving standards.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred
BS/BA degree in marketing, communications or related degree.
5+ years' experience in the tournament fishing field.

Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
