JOB SUMMARY:Perform a variety of professional-level analytical tasks with an emphasis on grant writing, administration and budget analysis. Works in cooperation with the Tulalip Tribal grants department in preparation of grants that benefit the Tulalip Tribal Police Department. Responsible for the acquisition of the resolution and the submittal of any grant reports on behalf of the Tulalip Tribal Police Department. Oversee grant application and administration functions. Ensure comprehensive grants administration services are provided. Act as a liaison with other grant stakeholders; e.g., Finance, legal, funding organizations etc.
COMPENSATION: $33.27 hr. *Applicant may be offered more depending on experience.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Associates Degree in Creative Writing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field. * Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE Four (4) years' computer operations skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office products. Four (4) years' experience collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating information. Two (2) years of experience writing proposals using excellent written communications skills. Two (2) years of experience researching and identifying opportunities for organizational improvements. Two (2) years' experience with budget development. Grant writing and reporting experience. Preferred. SKILLS TESTING Math Correspondence REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES WA State Driver's License. Must adhere to the Tribal Insurance Policy. (Personal Automobile Insurance & Abstract Required) ACCESS/CJIS Certification required. *will allow six (6) months from start date to obtain. Must not have been arrested for, convicted of, any financial crimes, crimes of violence of which any disposition exists except not guilty including but not limited to convicted of any crime of any felony crime and/or been convicted of domestic violence. The Tulalip Tribes requires different levels of pre-employment background screening for all positions. Employment is contingent upon successful passing the Tulalip Police Department Background check. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a regular Full-Time position.
