TheTrainer Intermediateis a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others inaccomplishingtheobjectivesof the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis offactual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner.Developed communication and diplomacy skills are requiredin order toexchange potentially complex/sensitive information.Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities.Qualityand timeliness ofthe serviceprovided will affect the effectiveness ofour ownteam and other closely related teams. Delivers product, technical, systems, sales, behavioral andskills-basedtraining in a classroom or virtual environment.
Delivers nationally developed curricula in a consistent manner applying principles of adult learning theory.
Manages the learning environment to ensure desired outcomes are achieved including the transfer of learning.
Displays solid knowledge of course content and materials.
UsesPBWMLearning assessment tools to measure and analyze training results andidentifygaps in learning; communicates curriculum gaps to Design and Development team.
Creates individualized coaching plans that ensure new hire and incumbent learner success.
Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure learner and partner satisfaction with training outcomes.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made,demonstratingparticular considerationfor the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, itsclientsand assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws,rulesand regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgmentregardingpersonal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating,managingand reporting control issues with transparency
The Business Trainer Intermediatemay work in an adaptive, self-managed, cross-functional Agile development team whereadditionalduties may arise including, but not limited to:
Support the intake of new learningrequeststhrough consulting and needs analysis as well as implementation of final product (including building and influencing key relationships across HR, L&Dand the business); measure business outcomes.
Supporting design and development of training solutions using a variety of learning tools and modalities in partnership with business and learning partners
Observing and/orfacilitatingcreated curricula in both classroom and virtual environments and collaborating with key partners to ensure learner success
Qualifications
2-5 years relevant experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
Previoustraining experience preferred
Flexible with schedule (days/nights/ability to travel up to 25%)
Ability to stand forlong periodsof timeto support classroom delivery
Ability to sit forlong periodsof time to support virtual delivery
Strong leadership,collaborationand interpersonal and communication skills
Problem solving skills
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and virtual learning technology
Able to diagnose performance opportunities using reporting
Able to create actionable coaching plans that produce a change in behavior
Excellent one-on-one, group presentation and facilitation skills
Professional demeanor, detail oriented, and able to interact in various business situations
Able to organize and prioritize workload

$52,520.00 - $73,280.00
