The Training and Development Specialist will craft and deliver impactful training programs that align with organizational goals and objectives. Collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess training needs and identify gaps in knowledge and skills. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to measure knowledge transfer and performance improvement. This position will primarily support our Intake team with work hours of 8:00am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday with occasional variation to support other departments (7:30am-4:00pm and 9:00am-6:00pm).
\n Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited toDesign, develop, and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences that align with organizational goals and objectivesCollaborate with various departments, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to assess training needs and identify gaps in knowledge and skills for both new and current employeesProvide day to day onboarding to and oversight of new hire cohorts, in collaboration with department supervisors, providing supervisors with updates on progressFacilitate training on various topics including, but not limited to, internal systems (CRM, phone, etc.), soft skills, de-escalation, continuous improvement, tier progression, etc. Create and maintain instructional materials, such as training manuals, presentations, participant guides, and multimedia content, which are interactive and learner-centered to advance and improve employees' and departments' specific needsConduct interactive training sessions utilizing a variety of methods to effectively facilitate learning and development, including, but not limited to, in-person classroom-style, virtual facilitation, coaching, videos, eLearning, focus groups, on-the-job training, etc. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, surveys, and metrics to measure knowledge transfer and performance improvementMaintain training records and documentation to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations.Update and revise existing training materials to reflect changes in processes, technology, or industry best practicesUtilize various instructional design methodologies and techniques to ensure the effectiveness and impact of training programsStay up to date with department and industry trends and advancements in learning and development to continuously enhance training programs and implement innovative training solutions Required Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceTwo years' experience with training or adult learning Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including written, verbal, and on telephoneAbility to evaluate and research training options and alternativesAbility to design and implement effective training and developmentKnowledge of and experience utilizing the adult learning principlesExtremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software with focus on Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointProfessional, positive, and enthusiastic attitudeStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsEffective decision making ability regarding day to day issuesEffective training and meeting skillsExcellent listening and feedback skillsAbility to adapt and be flexible in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsAbility to handle multiple assignments simultaneously Preferred Skills and ExperienceAdept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methodsExperience with process improvement initiativesFamiliarity and experience utilizing the Kirkpatrick Model of evaluationWork experience in a Call Center, Intake department and/or Revenue Cycle Physical RequirementsRepetitive motions that include the wrists, hands and/or fingersSedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periodsVisual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
