Title: Training Specialist
Location: Coraopolis, PA (on-site)
The Training Specialist is responsible for training new and existing employees on processes, products, systems, and policies. Many of the materials are presented in a classroom setting or remote learning. One-on-one opportunities may arise on occasion. This position will assess each participant's understanding of the course materials and provide management with reports offering feedback and suggestions for additional training needs.
As a dynamic and resourceful professional, we will rely on you to perform the following duties: Plan, coordinate, and deliver training programs on technical and non-technical subject matter. Develop, maintain and update training manuals. Responsible for training all levels of staff – operations, team leaders, and management. Work with key contacts to assess courseware for each department, determine customization needs and develop appropriate learning content. Utilize software and hardware in the course of leading training. Develop job aids and bulletins. Work within a learning management system (LMS) to ensure timely and accurate reporting of training events and evaluations. Assist in coordinating logistics for training events. Communicate effectively with all levels in the organization including management staff. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience. 5+ years' experience in the title insurance, real estate, banking, or vendor management industry or prior experience as a department Team Leader. Classroom training or teaching experience. Maintains flexible hours and work location. Ability to clearly communicate information and ideas in oral and written form, and presentation, with tact and diplomacy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High-level customer service and relationship management skills. Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts, and use of inductive reasoning. Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Learning Management System (LMS).
