Seeking a full-time Board-Certified Nephrologist with a completed fellowship in Transplant Nephrology to join a growing team just north of Boston, MA
Responsibilities include:
Pre-transplant clinic evaluationsKidney transplant wait list appointmentsDonor evaluationsInpatient coveragePost-transplant nephrology clinicDetermining suitability of organs from medically complex deceased donors.Managing renal replacement therapy (CRRT, HD and PD) on the inpatient kidney and liver transplant service.
Administrative duties include: Development of clinical protocolsReferral reviewCandidate selection committee participationDonor selection committee participationMulti-disciplinary roundsQAPI meetingsHospital department meetingsM and M conferencesEngaging the local and regional communities through outreach activities to foster relationships and referralsTeaching of fellows, residents, and studentsThere may be opportunities for focused research, and to grow and oversee the kidney exchange program through the NKR.Benefits Include: Competitive compensation package including CME expense reimbursement, and malpractice insurancePaid time off, CME time, retirement options with employer contributions, medical, dental, vision, life/disability coverage, and more.
