EBA Engineering, Inc. (EBA) is actively seeking a Transportation Engineer! •Assist in the planning and design of transportation-related facilities
•Design roadway alignments, intersections, drainage, utilities, and transportation facilities using industry-standard software
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive transportation plans and designs
•Develop roadway geometry
•Prepare engineering calculations and technical reports
•Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates
•Ensure projects adhere to quality control and safety standards
•Prepare contract task order proposals
•Conduct field visits during design and/or construction
•Participate in client and public meetings
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
•5+ years of experience in transportation facility and highway design
•Experience working with Maryland Department of Transportation and Maryland city/county government transportation projects
•Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, Bentley InRoads, Autodesk Civil 3D, and AutoTURN
•Must possess an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
•Maryland Professional Engineer license is desired but not required
•Excellent oral and written communication
•Excellent presentation skills
•Knowledge of AASHTO, FHWA, and MDOT design codes and standards
