YOUR ROLE
The Transportation Logistics Specialist is based in our Scottsdale, AZ logistics center designated to monitor, oversee, and support STMicroelectronics' Supply Chain Operations at our Los Angeles Distribution Center, and throughout the Americas Region.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership & communication skills, knowledge of USA transportation operations, to include US Customs regulations and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), and possess the autonomy to self-manage themselves in a fast-paced, highly visible, and customer demanding environment.
KPI: Delivery Cycle Time adherence; Proof of Delivery Accuracy (per incoterm); LSP Scorecard Performance; Quality Control; Compliance Adherence
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and Execute day-to-day Transportation Operations.Standard & Urgency Shipment Management and Coordination
Export & Bonded Shipment Processing
Delivery Follow-Up and Confirmation.
Validate transportation costs and Invoice Submission.
Lead and Direct as the Front-Line Supervisor of 3rdPartly Logistics Providers, to ensure ST's Standards are adhered to.
Communicate with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
Analyze transportation data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Implement process improvements and safety initiatives.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., manufacturing, warehousing, customer service).
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
Bachelors degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field would be ideal.
3 to 5 years of experience in transportation operations or logistics.
Detail Oriented, and have the ability to work automatously while prioritizing tasks to meet department goals & objectives.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, while deploying leadership/ management methodologies to include problem solving skills, effective communication, and flexibility to adjust course when situation requires.
Extensive Knowledge and Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel (preferably at the intermediate to expert level) and Outlook, and have the aptitude to learn quickly.
At STMicroelectronics, base salary is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The base annual salary range for this role is between $77,800 USD to $97,300 USD.
