We are looking for a Transportation Manager to manage and coordinate all transportation activities within the Gardner, ND location. You will be a valued team member responsible for all transportation activities at the site, which includes internal fleet, dedicated carriers, LTL, and contract carriers. Key responsibilities include transportation management (50% of the job), management of personnel (25%), and DOT compliance and safety (25%), and other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Education: High School Diploma/GED Required.Supervisory Experience: 3+ years of experience managing people; Candidates in the rotational Land O'Lakes programs (TAP/MMT/DMT) will be considered.Leadership: 3+ years of experience with DOT operations and compliance. Ability to demonstrate successful past leadership in operations, warehouse management, and/or managing personnel.Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, smartphones, and other hardware/software.Preferred: Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Business, Engineering Sciences, Supply Chain, or related field.Supervisory Experience: 5+ years or more experience managing people.Regulations/Compliance: 5+ years experience working with DOT regulations, EH&S programs, and other compliance/safety procedures.Certifications: CDL-Class A License.Other Information: Nothing in this job description restricts the management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
