Position Summary Seeking an outgoing candidate who thrives in a fast paced production environment and enjoys managing a group of employees that are focused on delivering a quality product to our customers. Additionally, this candidate needs to monitor and engage employees in all safety & performance initiatives. How You'll Make a Difference Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, and directed and that all delivery times are being met timely Conduct daily work group meetings Schedule and control staff to meet labor productivity and overtime targets Ensure compliance with all government regulatory agencies' standards (for example: Food and Drug Administration (FDA), United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), Department of Transportation (DOT), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), etc.) Document and follow up on all department processes to implement improvements Ensure on-time and accurate production and/or catering of all flights Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety regulations Other duties as deemed necessary What We Look For in a Candidate Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge preferred one to three years of related work experience in a supervisory role required Problem solving and leadership skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to develop and lead others to obtain desired results & achieve productivity goals Working knowledge of OSHA, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), FDA, DOT, and EPA regulations Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills required along with the ability to multi-task LSG Sky Chefs is an EEO and Affirmative Action Employer of Women/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
