Trash Truck Driver

Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Class A or B CDL Knowledge of the truck and basic maintenance needs for safe operation Ability to read, write and understand basic maps Ability operate vehicle in tight spaces Ability to communicate with customers Ability to recognize unacceptable waste Responsibilities The Residential Route Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers Collect solid waste on curbside and transporting it to the landfill Drive a rear-load trash truck to collect waste and take to the landfill Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspectionsJob Type: Full-timePay: $17.75 - $19.50 per hourBenefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time offSchedule: 10 hour shift Home daily Monday to Friday Year round workExperience: Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Air Brake Endorsement (Required) CDL B (Required)Work Location: In person
