Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Job Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 8 hours, 0900-1730 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current and unrestricted state Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification Certifications: - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Certified Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCIS) - Current state Radiologic Technologist certification - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification - American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to float between different facilities as needed - Flexibility to be called off up to 3 shifts per contract Job Description: - Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab - Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care - Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols - Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety - Monitor patients during procedures and report any changes to the attending physician - Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records - Participate in on-call duties as required by the department - Uphold infection control and quality assurance standards - Continuously update professional knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities This role is ideal for a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
