Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Certified Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/09/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Preparing the operating room for surgery by ensuring that all necessary equipment, supplies, and instruments are available and in good working condition. Assisting the surgical team by passing instruments, sponges, and other items needed during surgery. Anticipating the needs of the surgical team and adjusting instruments and equipment accordingly. Maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room by following strict infection control procedures. Transporting patients to and from the operating room and positioning them on the operating table. Assisting with the preparation and application of sterile dressings and bandages.
