About The Position **Job Title:** Radiologic Technologist **Job Specialty:** CT/X-Ray Technologist **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** 10-hour shifts: 6:30-15:00, 10:00-20:30, with weekends as needed (probably just one weekend a month) **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years **License:** ARRT, CA State License and RHB **Certifications:** BLS **Must-Have:** Experience with CT **Job Description:** - Perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing CT and X-Ray technology. - Operate Toshiba Aquillion 64 Scanner. - Adhere to established radiologic requirements and regulations. - Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure the highest quality of care. - Assist radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. - Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure. - Utilize the MEDITECH Charting System for accurate and efficient record-keeping. - Work various shifts, including evening and graveyard shifts, with occasional weekend availability required. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care in an acute care setting. - Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
