Certification Details BLS certification through the American Heart Association ARRT certification in RD & CT Tech Ohio Radiology license Job Details Under general supervision and following established policies and procedures, performs diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Verifies patient identity and reviews patient's medical record for appropriateness of exam or procedure. Explains procedure to patient, including side effects of pharmaceuticals administered, risks, benefits, alternatives and follow-up. Job Requirements Must have 2 years recent RD & CT Tech experience in a hospital setting Must have ARRT certification in RD & CT Tech & Ohio Radiology license Must have familiarity with TOSHIBA Aquilion 64 slice and 16 slice GE xray units Able to take call/standby as required by the department Ability to start IV a plus and able to work alone Schedule Information Able to take call/standby as required by the department Additional Details May perform the duties of a Radiologic Technologist, as needed Provides imaging education to residents, student technologists and new employees
