Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Job Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (06:00 - 16:30) or 3x12-Hour (06:00 - 18:30) Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Must have or be able to obtain South Carolina license Certifications: BLS, ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS) Must-Have: Willingness to train new hires Job Description: - Work a rotating on-call schedule, from noon Sunday to 7 AM Monday. - Participate in weekend rotations: required to work 8 AM to noon on Saturday and Sunday, adding up to 4 hours each day. - Take on a weekday schedule of either 4 ten-hour shifts or 3 twelve-hour shifts. - Handle a daily caseload of 8-12 patients. - Comply with floating requirements between service lines, but no floating to sister facilities. - Adhere to protocols for non-local candidate consideration, with a defined local radius for eligibility. - Conform to medical and religious exemption policy for the flu vaccine, as flu vaccination is required. - Complete mandatory modules which are non-billable, averaging 4 hours, as part of onboarding. Miscellaneous: - Must provide own radiation badge. - Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season if necessary. - Orientation consists of 16 non-billable hours. - Scrub color: Navy or Seal Blue. - Charting system preferred: Epic.
