Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Technologist Job Specialty: Echo Technologist, Ultrasound Technologist - General Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in adult echocardiogram sonography and experience with Phillips equipment and Epic EMR is required. License: Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program is strongly preferred. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, plus either a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS). Must-Have: Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility. Experience with Phillips equipment is required. Job Description: - Responsible for providing diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound to aid cardiologists in making accurate diagnoses. - Deliver immediate feedback through preliminary reports of critical results to nurses and physicians, crucial for life-saving treatment interventions. - Assist physicians with complex procedures in various settings such as the operating room, hybrid lab, cath lab, and during procedures like TAVR, SAVR, Tandem heart, and Lariet. - Preferred experience includes TTE (inpatient and outpatient), TEE, structural imaging, ECMO, and Impella placement. - This is a safety-sensitive position, adhering to regulations and policies that permit the refusal to hire or the discipline and discharge of employees if they test positive for prohibited substances. - Candidates must understand and comply with safety-sensitive job requirements.
