Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - MRI Tech Shift: Mids / 11a-12:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, Tues/Thurs/Fri, no weekends Length: 13 weeks  Requirements: 1 year experienceMust have Siemens experienceRequires completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which normally is acquired in a two-year college or technical school program. ARRT (R) (MR)AHA BLSPrefer 1 year experience in an imaging modalityPrefer magnetic resonance training program experience with clinical internship or 1 year of clinical imaging experienceOthers:Requires extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathologic processes with emphasis on neurologic, orthopedic, and cardiac physiology. Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology as related to the position, as well as aseptic and sterile techniquesRequires knowledge of the physics involved to perform magnetic resonance imaging exams, as well as the use of all equipment necessary to obtain and document a complete examination. Effective communication skills to interact with patients, physicians and other personnel.Skills: High levels of analytical skills and critical thinking skills are required to perform appropriate scans based on the patients' history and protocol. Work requires a high level of interpersonal skills for instructing and orientating patients, physicians, medical staff, and students.
