Travel Interventional Radiology Technician (Morristown, NJ)Location: Morristown, NJPay:Total weekly compensation: $2,798.00Job Title: Interventional Radiology TechnicianSchedule:Shift: 9:00 am to 5:00 pmOn-call and weekend rotations requiredMust be willing to float to endovascular OR suite and offsite locations for IR casesCall back required for weekday and weekend on-call assignments, including holiday coverageNight call entails a 24-hour on-call requirementDuties:Assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases, scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralists.Possess strong knowledge and proficiency with floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines.Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases.Demonstrate critical thinking skills during neuro-interventional cases and complex procedures to assist proceduralists.Operate power injection of iodinated contrast media devices during diagnostic and interventional procedures.Communicate effectively using closed-loop communication methods.Maintain sterile technique and infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load.Contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team consisting of nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system.Manage groin post-intervention.Provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.Requirements:BLS certification from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or an accredited program with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.Current licensure and certification with ARRT NJ state.3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardio-Vascular Technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.Additional Information:The role is similar to a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) but requires radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.Must meet COVID requirements for COVID vaccination.Free parking provided for easy access to the hospital.Referral Program:Earn referral bonuses for successful referrals.If you know someone who would be a great fit for this position, refer them to us and earn referral bonuses for successful placements.
