Associate degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited college or university and completion of a clinical laboratory internship preferred. Certified as an MT/MLS or MLT by one of the National Commission of Health Certifying Agencies or by an agency recognized by the Hawaii Department of Health Laboratories Branch.
