Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of MRI procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:
Operate MRI scanners to capture detailed images of patients' internal structures, such as the brain, spinal cord, muscles, joints, and organs.
Prepare patients for MRI exams by explaining procedures, positioning them appropriately, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Review physician orders to determine the appropriate MRI protocols and conduct imaging procedures in line with diagnostic requirements.
Monitor patients during imaging to ensure their safety and provide reassurance when needed.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including imaging results and related data.
Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to assess images and assist with diagnoses.
Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of MRI equipment to guarantee optimal performance and safety.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including infection control practices, radiation safety, and MRI-specific guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilization and cleaning of equipment.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient concerns and offering clear instructions before, during, and after the MRI procedure.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and healthcare standards.
 Requirements:
ARRT Certification
BLS Certification
1 year MRI Technologist experience
