The Nurse Manager oversees the daily operations and provides clinical supervision to the nursing staff. This role involves both clinical and administrative responsibility for managing all activities within the Inpatient Service. In collaboration with the Director, the Nurse Manager ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care in alignment with regulatory standards and evidence-based clinical practices.
Skills:Minimum 5 years as a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years of clinical psychiatry experience.  2+ years in a leadership role.  Strong critical thinking, math, and computer skills; effective team player.  Knowledge of NYSDOH, JCAHO, and regulatory requirements; quality improvement models and tools.  Proficient in CQI and Root Cause Analysis methods.  Leadership, budgetary, and administrative competence.  Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Expertise in clinical specialty, decision-making, and problem-solving.  Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, and hearing).
