Travel Nurse Rn - Case Manager In Falls Church, Va

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Case Management **Job Duration:** 17 weeks **Shift:** 8 hours, 8 AM - 4:30 PM **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 per week **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years inpatient discharge planning experience required **License:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** - Experience in a large, Level I Trauma, fast-paced environment - Experience with Epic Case Management Module **Job Description:** - Manage a caseload of approximately 25-30 cases per day - Work two weekend shifts per month and one holiday per contract - Be prepared to float to different units within the hospital - Collaborate with a hospitalist or intensivist available in-house 24/7 - Support from a 24/7 respiratory therapy team and pharmacy on-site - Wear business casual attire with a white lab coat or royal blue scrubs - Utilize Epic access for case management tasks **Additional Expectations:** - Weekend requirements: two shifts per month - No on-call expectations - Floating to other units as needed Orientation dates are scheduled for November 18 and December 9. Complete knowledge of the hospital's electronic medical records system (Epic) is essential for success in this role.
