**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Cardiac Cath Lab **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 4x10-hour days with call **Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years **License:** Required, willing to wait **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS **Must-Have:** 1-year Cath Lab Experience **Job Description:** - Circulate Left and Right Heart Catheterizations/Pacemakers/TEE. - Must be able to float to pre and post-care for Cath Lab, GI, and IR patients. - For GI, the role involves following doctor's orders, taking vital signs, and educating the patient's family during discharge when the family is present. - Charting is done using Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient EMR. - Scrubs are provided. - One week of unit/department-specific orientation available. - Hospital may cancel up to three times per contract; each cancellation could be a full shift or any part of a shift, with a possibility of full payment for a particular shift in lieu of cancellation. - Shifts are 10-hour days from 7 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call scheduling. - Self-scheduled call requirement may include seven or more shifts per month, including weekends and holidays.
