**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - Pediatrics (CVICU-Peds) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 06:45 PM - 07:15 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** [Not specified] **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years in Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU **License:** Active Registered Nurse License **Certifications:** BLS, PALS, ACLS **Must-Have:** 2 years of Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience **Job Description:** - Work in a high acuity, fast-paced pediatric cardiovascular intensive care unit - Care for patients with congenital heart disease/defects, surgical CHD, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplants, and VAD/Berlin - Manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 for ICU status, 1:2 for ICU, and 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU patients - Treat patients ranging from neonatal through young adult, including occasional adult congenital heart disease patients - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care Interested candidates should possess excellent skills in handling critical care scenarios, demonstrate empathy in patient interactions, and maintain up-to-date certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
