**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Shift:** Day - 5x8 - 06AM - 02PM

**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week

**Experience:** Minimum 2 years required, with a minimum of 1-year full-time experience in relevant settings

**License:** License submission not required at this stage

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS required

**Must-Have:** Ability to work in both OR and CVOR, no scrubbing required for RN

**Job Description:**

- Unit includes 6 suites plus a hybrid room handling 20-30 cases per day
- Exposure to a wide variety of cases including total joints, general surgery, spine, urology, and cardiovascular operations for the Open Heart team
- Orientation includes 3-5 shifts based on case load and exposure
- The role includes floating to the general side when not assigned CVOR procedures
- High volume of on-call responsibilities, up to 50%, with a 30-minute response time requirement
- Call schedule includes both weeknight and weekend coverage, divided equally among staff
- Hospital provides scrubs, with charting managed through the Cerner system
- Charge nurses and specialty leads are available as resources, with a house supervisor on-site 24/7
- Requires flexibility for occasional floating to other departments to assist with various tasks such as delivering food trays or sitting with patients, though floating to other procedural areas is very rare
- No BSN required
